West Ham topped our group and really impressed on the whole in Europe.

David Moyes has worked absolute wonders since taking over at the London Stadium in December 2019.

The Scot has incredibly managed to transform us from relegation candidates into genuine challengers for the top four in the Premier League.

We have proven this season that we are more than capable of holding our own in the Europa League as well.

Tonight’s clash with Sevilla at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium will be the acid test for West Ham though. The La Liga side are a truly top-class outfit. And the West Ham starting lineup vs Sevilla is certainly one for us all to be happy about.

Sevilla are currently sitting in second spot in the La Liga table, eight points adrift of league leaders Real Madrid.

The Spaniards know what they’re doing in the Europa League, they’ve won the competition a record six times and have lifted the trophy four times in the last eight years.

If the Hammers players bring their best stuff tonight though, they should really be able to give Sevilla a run for their money.

West Ham starting lineup vs Sevilla

Moyes has made two big changes from our defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

In come Alphonse Areola and Declan Rice and in place of Lukasz Fabianski and Jarrod Bowen.

The West Ham starting lineup as confirmed by UEFA is about as strong as Moyes could have picked, aside from the injured Jarrod Bowen of course.

Let’s hope that the boys are right up for this one and have plenty of belief after pushing Liverpool to the limit on Saturday.

There is plenty enough quality in this team to cause Sevilla problems even without Bowen. It’s time for every single West Ham player to stand up and be counted. This is a massive game and hopefully it will be one to remember.
