West Ham might have a decent change of beating Liverpool to the signing of Chelsea ace Conor Gallagher this summer.
According to a report from The Evening Standard, West Ham want to sign Chelsea ace Conor Gallagher. However, we face competition from Liverpool for the midfielder according to the likes of The Independent.

West Ham boss David Moyes has been chasing Gallager for quite some time now. And some people might think that the Scot has missed the boat, with Liverpool now in the race for his signature.
However, I believe that the Hammers have every chance to beat the Reds to the signing of the Chelsea midfielder this summer.
Much will depend on whether the West Ham board are actually prepared to meet the Blues’ demands for the 23-year-old though…
West Ham could beat Liverpool to Conor Gallagher
Firstly, the Hammers would be able to offer the Chelsea star the chance to remain in London.
Secondly, Gallagher would be guaranteed regular first-team action at the London Stadium – something that he definitely wouldn’t be certain of at Anfield.
Thirdly, Liverpool are by no means favourites to qualify for the Champions League this season, so there’s a good chance that they won’t have the advantage of being able to offer the Chelsea man the chance to play on Europe’s biggest stage.
And if West Ham do manage to win the race for the 23-year-old Englishman, what a signing he would be for us.
He’s been described as an ‘immense talent’ by Sport Bible.
The six-capped England international would be a fine addition for West Ham, that goes without saying.
Gallagher was brilliant during his loan spell with Crystal Palace last season.
He has bagged eight goals and three assists in 34 Premier League games for Palace (Transfermarkt).
During those appearances, the 23-year-old averaged 2.4 tackles, 1.7 dribbles and 1.3 key passes per game (Who Scored).
He has incredible energy, drive, passion, determination and commitment to the cause. On top of all that as well, Gallagher is incredibly gifted from a technical perspective.
The Hammers have a huge task ahead of us this summer, if we are to adequately replace Rice. We will probably need to bring in two top-class players in order to do just that.
The 23-year-old Chelsea midfielder would be superb signing for West Ham, especially if he is brought in alongside someone like Ibrahim Sangare or Khephren Thuram.
And I firmly believe that Liverpool beating West Ham to Conor Gallagher won’t be the foregone conclusion that many think it might be.
