Signing a top-class left-back/left wing-back will be vital move for Moyes this summer.

The Chelsea ace would be a very smart addition for West Ham and would be a big upgrade on Aaron Cresswell.

And it seems as though we may well be able to pick the 27-capped Italy international up for a very reasonable fee indeed…

West Ham can sign transfer target from Chelsea on the cheap

Corriere della Sera reckon that the Blues are now prepared to sell Emerson for just £13 million this summer.

That’s very good value in my eyes and Moyes should not hesitate to bring the Italian to the London Stadium.

Palmieri, who earns £70k-a-week according to WT Foot, is an attacking left wing-back in every sense. He isn’t the best defensively, but is great going forward.

The Chelsea star would add some real depth to our left-back / left wing-back options. He has bundles of energy and pace and possesses a wicked delivery, all covered extensively here by Football.London.

Emerson spent last season on loan with Lyon and he really impressed in France.

In 29 Ligue 1 appearances for Lyon, the 27-year-old bagged one goal and two assists. During those outings, he averaged 1.6 tackles and 2.1 interceptions per game (Who Scored).

The Italian made 53.1 passes on average per match and recorded an impressive completion rate of 86.7% (Who Scored).

West Ham should snap up the chance to sign long-term transfer target Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea.

£13 million would be great value in my opinion.
