Widely reported Liverpool target Luis Diaz will ‘resist’ a move to Tottenham in January in favour of a future move to Anfield.
That’s according to a report from Portuguese newspaper Record (via Sport Witness), claiming that the FC Porto winger will wait until the summer before moving on.
This angle is replicated by numerous outlets with local Porto newspaper O Jogo suggesting that the 25-year-old is not ‘very interested’ in the prospect of a move to Spurs.

Correio da Manhã claim that the Reds are still the ‘main adversary’ as the pursuit of the 31-cap Columbia international heats up.
This season Diaz has netted 16 goals and provided six assists in 28 appearances across all competitions.

Valued at £36million and under contract in Portugal until 2024 (Transfermarkt), Porto are expected to demand around €60million (£50.2million) for their prize asset.
Already a multiple trophy winner, Diaz looks primed to take the next step in a promising career.
Boasting a vast array of attacking attributes and predominantly a left-winger, the Columbian could be the perfect candidate to offer competition and ultimately a replacement for Sadio Mane.
