The Dutchman, a passionate person naturally, wants to succeed at the highest level. Although it’ll take time to turn this squad into serial winners, Ten Hag is already doing an excellent job.
Some players may find it tough to adjust to this high-intensity system, others will flourish.
One man who is emerging as a top-class prospect is Zidane Iqbal. The young man has been super impressive on pre-season tour thus far.
Apparently, even Iqbal isn’t immune to criticism when making an error. A video has emerged online of Ten Hag passionately shouting an expletive at the United starlet as he made a mistake in training.

Not too long ago, Iqbal was openly discussing how good the new boss has been for him personally – and this video simply will not change that thought.
To be the best, you’ve got to be prepared to take criticism on the chin and learn from that. In the long term, with the correct attitude, Iqbal will become a better player because of this mistake.
For us United fans, it has been so long since we’ve had a manager in the dugout filled with genuine passion and intent. Ten Hag is a breath of fresh air for us, though I guess it’ll take some time for the players to get used to the constant shouting and yelling in training sessions.
Iqbal is someone I genuinely believe can make a decent impact within the first-team this season, particularly with help from a manager like Ten Hag.
