Video of family man Lucas Paqueta after Brazil win is food for the soul, and West Ham fans will be buzzing after his World Cup performance.

The Hammers signed the talented 25-year-old from Lyon in the summer transfer window for a club record £51 million (Sky Sports).

West Ham did unbelievably well to get Paqueta, with many of Europe’s top clubs believed to be in the race for him at the time. The Hammers fans were stunned when we won the race to sign him in the summer.

The fact that we have a regular Brazil international at the London Stadium is mind-boggling isn’t it!?

He’s just a brilliant, brilliant player and will only keep getting better with more experience of playing in the Premier League.

The onus is still on David Moyes to get the absolute best out of the silky South American star, and he has already been told in no uncertain terms how to do exactly that.

Paqueta was absolutely brilliant for Brazil last night during their 2022 World Cup clash with South Korea out in Qatar.

He’s not only an incredible player, but he is clearly a down to earth family man at heart…

The 25-year-old has three goals in 12 appearances to his name for West Ham so far (Transfermarkt).

There is clearly a lot still to come at the London Stadium from the South American star, and his performances out in Qatar prove that.

The £51 million Hammers star is clearly an integral part of Tite’s Brazil side.

He played a crucial role during their win over South Korea yesterday. The 4-1 victory led to wild celebrations both in Qatar and back home in Brazil.

Paqueta celebrated the win with his family, however, in a really touching moment that was caught on camera:

Just wonderful to see.

The ex-Lyon man is clearly very down to earth and has his priorities absolutely spot on.

David Moyes is well-known for his thorough approach to transfers, and particularly his research into the character of potential news signings.

He has clearly got it right with the 25-year-old Brazilian.

The West Ham fans will be absolutely loving his contribution at the World Cup out in Qatar, both on and off the pitch. Now all we need is for him to break his goalscoring duck for the Hammers, so that we can witness the silky samba dance moves in the flesh!

Let’s hope that that happens sooner rather than later.
