Tottenham earmark Joachim Low as a potential Antonio Conte replacement
According to Daily Express, Tottenham Hotspur have identified former German national team manager Joachim Low as a replacement for Antonio Conte should the Italian leave.
Conte’s contract with Tottenham expires in the summer. He is yet to renew his contract with the club and there is a good chance for the manager to leave. In that case, Spurs need to line up replacements.
It seems like they have identified Low as the replacement for Conte. It is a very weird choice to be honest as there could not be two managers who are more contrasting in style than the Italian and the German.

Low had great times as the coach of the German national team including leading them to a sensational World Cup win in 2014. However, since then, Germany have only gotten worse by the day.
He has been a free agent ever since with no club snapping him up. Tottenham being interested in him is interesting but it is likely to happen only if Conte somehow ends up leaving the club but that is unlikely.
The Italian manager is building a project here although it is not really going great now. However, everyone knows about Conte’s quality and him being given a long run will not come as a surprise.
Even if Conte leaves, Low should not be the kind of manager that Tottenham should go for. The German already seems past his best and there are better options out in the market to sign as our manager.
