Tottenham struggled to find their best stuff in a highly competitive and combative London derby, which ended 1-1 at London Stadium.

Both teams deserve a share of the spoils after a scrappy affair. West Ham recovered in the second half, quashing most of the away side’s attacking prowess.

Here’s the player ratings from the 1-1 draw in east London.

Hugo Lloris 4/10

The Frenchman had one of those moments we’d all but forgotten about. He conceded possession carelessly by knocking it out for a throw-in. West Ham scored seconds later, though Lloris’ teammates did nothing to help their keeper. They were too slow to react and it was 1-1 by the time the did.

That wasn’t the only blunder the Frenchman made with the ball at his feet. He was trying to be way too cute repeatedly, especially in the second half. He shouldn’t be playing it to an under-pressure Sanchez.

Davinson Sanchez 7/10

Davinson Sanchez was on the pitch for a goal against for the first time in almost 10 hours. It was an incredible streak that had to come to an end at some point. Sanchez has taken the safety first option recently, one of the main reasons he wasn’t on the field for an opposing goal for such an extended period. He made a clutch clearing header in the final 10 minutes and played pretty well.

Eric Dier 7.5/10

Eric Dier hasn’t done too much wrong to start the season. Despite not winning the contest, Dier played well. He’s so poised in possession and rarely coughs it up. He’s also defending expertly. Dier had three clearances and one tackle.

Ben Davies 7/10

Ben Davies complemented Perisic nicely down the left flank. He was safe with the ball, made the right passes and didn’t step a foot wrong defensively.
