Tony Gale has shared why he believes some West Ham United fans will never warm to David Moyes.
West Ham manager David Moyes has worked absolute wonders since taking the reins at the London Stadium for the second time in December 2019.

The Hammers are currently in our third consecutive European campaign and Moyes guided us to our first major trophy since 1980 last season.

West Ham have made a terrific start to the 2023/24 season on all fronts as well. We won 2-0 yesterday against Sheffield United and are currently sitting in seventh spot in the Premier League table.
However, there are still fans who criticise him at every turn. So why is that?
Tony Gale shares exact reason why ‘David Moyes out’ crew will never fully warm to the West Ham boss
The former Hammer was on co-comms duty during the clash with the Blades yesterday.
And Gale highlighted why some sections of the West Ham support still can’t accept the Scot (Saturday September 30th, 16:05):

“Sometimes they just bemoan the fact that they could be more attacking. Sometimes he’s just too cautious, but I think this season they’ll kick on with a more expansive style.”
I think Gale is right here but I can’t understand why some fans quite simply refuse to ever praise Moyes.
I was one of the biggest advocates for David Sullivan to sack the 60-year-old last season.
However, I’m big enough to admit that the board got it spot on by keeping him in charge. Who am I to criticise David Moyes anyway? He is the only West Ham manager in my lifetime who has delivered a major trophy.
The way things are going this season, it seems like we’re well on our way to yet another top seven finish in the Premier League table. And who knows…we might just win another trophy as well.
I think it’s about time that we all got fully behind Moyes. I get that the football can be a little too defensive at times but the bottom line is the Scot is our most successful manager over the past 40 plus years.
