Raheem Sterling looks set to take West Ham target Armando Broja’s place on Chelsea’s US trip after sealing a move from Man City.
West Ham boss David Moyes has made Broja his prime striker target this summer having been linked with the Albanian since January (Football Insider).
West Ham have been facing an anxious wait to see if Chelsea will do business with them over Broja following the departure of Romelu Lukaku.

Reports claimed Thomas Tuchel wanted to assess the forward in pre-season before making a decision whether to allow him to leave.
Hammers News has consistently pointed out that Tuchel – who is under pressure to close the gap on Man City and Liverpool – is highly unlikely to thrust Broja into the Chelsea first team off the back of six Premier League goals in his breakout season.
And we have also been following very closely Chelsea’s attempts to sign a host of forwards given that it directly influences West Ham’s hopes of signing Broja.
Now there has been a clear boost for Moyes’ hopes of being able to sign the 20-year-old Slough-born star.

Raheem Sterling set to take West Ham target Armando Broja’s place on Chelsea US trip after sealing move from Man City
Tuchel has elected not to bring Broja with the senior squad on Chelsea’s US tour this Saturday (The Sun, Ora News).
Instead Sky Sports and The Independent report that Sterling will take Broja’s place on the trip to the USA as they expect to seal his arrival imminently.
With at least two more forwards expected to arrive at Chelsea, Broja’s path to first team game time is going to be firmly blocked.
And with there no longer being a bottomless pit of money at Stamford Bridge, the Blues will be looking to bring some funds in by selling the likes of Broja – as Hammers News reported some time ago having spoken to our man at Chelsea.
West Ham will surely feel increasingly confident of signing Broja, with Claret and Hugh claiming his preference is to remain in London.
