‘So much quality’: Emerson names six West Ham stars he loves playing alongside

New signing Emerson Palmieri has absolutely raved about six of his West Ham United teammates, when speaking to reporters.

Hammers boss David Moyes brought the 28-year-old to the London Stadium from Chelsea in the summer for around £15 million (The Daily Mail).

Emerson has made a promising start to life with West Ham.

And the Italy international is clearly enjoying his time with the Hammers, he said as much in a tweet on Thursday night.

He hasn’t played many Premier League games for West Ham but has featured regularly in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

He will undoubtedly be eased into the Premier League team slowly this term. There is so much competition for places at the London Stadium this season, and it’s really great to see.

Emerson praises six ‘quality’ West Ham players

The Italian is obviously enjoying playing for his new team.

He told WHUFC.com that there are six West Ham players in particular who he really likes playing alongside:

We have so much quality. When we start to play simple with our objective to the goal, we can score against every team because we have so many players up front who can do it like Said (Benrahma) and Bowen, Scamacca, Paqueta, Antonio, Fornals. We have a lot of players with quality and I like to play with them.

Emerson is right, West Ham have some sensational attacking players amongst our ranks.

The challenge for David Moyes will be to get the best out of all of them, and transform us into a more attacking, expressive footballing side.

West Ham made a really slow start to the 2022/23 season, but things are beginning to get much better.

Our attacking players are starting to click, and there could be very exciting times ahead of the Hammers.
