Inter Milan make Tottenham Hotspur target Andre Onana available for sale
Inter Milan could sell Tottenham Hotspur target Andre Onana this summer. He has been a long-term transfer target for Spurs.
Spurs’ pursuit of the 26-year-old could be aided by Inter’s desperation to raise 50million Pounds in player sales to meet Financial Fair Play Regulations (FFP). Spurs can really use a long-term addition between the sticks.
Hugo Lloris is currently injured and we felt his absence when Leicester City put four past us in a 4-1 loss on Saturday at the King Power Stadium. The Frenchman will be back in a while.
Onana to Spurs?
But even then, the time has come to move on. The 36-year-old has already retired from the France national team and has been error-prone this season.
Onana could be the ideal replacement. He is of a good age profile and is a very dependable presence in goal.
Chelsea have Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga while Manchester United have David de Gea and Dean Henderson for next season. Hopefully, our clear and desperate need for a goalkeeper gives us an edge.
Given Inter’s desperation, we should try and bargain to reach a sane price tag. Although, fans would hope Spurs don’t bargain and risk ending a deal for Onana in such an instance – or any goalkeeper for that matter.

We have to replace Lloris in goal in the long term. He has been dependable for the past decade or so and we cannot afford to let the standards and consistency drop – no matter what it costs.
