Manchester United have launched their all-new Adidas third kit for the 2023/24 season, with former club captain Roy Keane taking the lead in the promotional video.
The kit comes without the traditional club crest that has been on the jersey since the 1970s.
Instead of the crest, it includes the new Red Devil logo, which stands in isolation.
It is inspired by United’s first FA Cup-winning season in 1908-09.
The Third kit has a clean white design with Team Viewer remaining as the front-of-shirt sponsor.
In the unveiling video posted on ManUtd.com, Keane says in his famous fiery attitude: “So you’re a devil are you? Well let’s remind you of the terms.
“The devil isn’t something you wear. It is more like a pact, a deed shall we say?
“It’s not for everyone. We expect a lot. And as sure as the sun will rise, we will know if you mean it.
“So have a good long think. What do you get in return? What’s on offer? It’s Manchester United!
“So there it is, no small print, sign on the dotted line. But you already signed, didn’t you? Before you were even born.”
Marcus Rashford, Casemiro, and Alejandro Garnacho also feature in the video.
In our view, this newly launched jersey looks absolutely stunning. Roping Keane back to unveil the kit was a brilliant idea from United and Adidas.
United have launched two kits previously for the upcoming campaign. The first is their home shirt, which pays homage to the city’s iconic red rose.
The second is their away kit that has a green-and-white striped design. These stripes are inspired by the club’s football shirts of the late 19th/early 20th century.
The Red Devils will begin their Premier League campaign against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford on Monday.
