West Ham United are allegedly keen to sign Nantes attacking midfielder Ludovic Blas in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from Football Transfers who claims that the Hammers could be set to battle it out with Newcastle United for the talented 24-year-old’s signature in the summer.

West Ham manager David Moyes will undoubtedly be a very busy man in the transfer market at the end of the season.
The Scot desperately needs to sign at least one top-class striker, a centre-back, a left-back and a central midfielder. If truth be told, he really should be trying to sign an elite attacking midfielder as well, considering just how much we have missed Jesse Lingard this season.

Now, Moyes will undoubtedly make one final attempt to bring Jesse back to the London Stadium. It seems as though the West Ham boss might have another option up his sleeve though…
West Ham eyeing Ludovic Blas
Football Transfers suggest that the Hammers are keen to bring the brilliant Nantes ace to the London Stadium this summer.
We will allegedly face competition from Newcastle for his signature though.
Blas is a left-footed attacking midfielder who is most comfortable when playing in the number 10 position, although he can play out wide as well.
The 24-year-old possesses exceptional technique and has impressive pace and energy. The Frenchman is pretty strong as well – something that bodes well for his chances of adapting to the physicality of the Premier League.
Nantes teammate Pedro Chirivella absolutely raved about Blas, as quoted by the Daily Star:

“When it comes to pure talent, I rate Ludovic Blas above all others. I played with Coutinho, Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, I know what they are capable of. And when I see what Ludo is doing in training or in games, he has nothing to envy them when it comes to talent. He’s incredible, spectacular, and his future looks bright.”
Blas has bagged 12 goals and two assists in 31 games for Nantes so far this season. He’s not just a flash in the pan either. Last term he racked up 11 goals and five assists in 39 games (Transfermarkt).
The 24-year-old would be a truly sensational addition for West Ham in the summer and we think he would actually be a better signing for us than Jesse Lingard.
The Nantes ace could be available for around €20 million (£16 million) according to Football Transfers. That kind of fee would represent outstanding business for the Hammers.
And David Moyes should be doing everything in his power to bring Ludovic Blas to West Ham before the start of next season. The French ace would take us to another level, that’s for sure.
