Tottenham superstar Harry Kane needs to tread carefully against Liverpool to avoid being suspended against Leeds United

According to the Express, Tottenham superstar Harry Kane needs to tread carefully when he takes the field against Liverpool with the English captain one yellow card away from a Premier League suspension.

Spurs take on Leeds United after facing Liverpool this weekend in the Premier League. If Kane gets yellow-carded against the Reds, then there is a chance that Antonio Conte will have to line up against the Yorkshire club without any of his first-choice attackers.

Son Heung-Min, Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison all find themselves out injured with the former Juventus winger the only one even remotely close to making a return if anything in the near future.

Son is likely to be available directly only for the World Cup and Harry Kane has to carry the Spurs team with his attacking abilities despite the presence of Lucas Moura and Bryan Gil who can help him.

It remains to be seen how the Englishman manages his game against Liverpool. There is always set to be a confrontation in a high-pressure match such as this one and Kane will have to keep his cool.

The Tottenham superstar striker has a rather disciplined history against the Reds. The player has played against Liverpool 15 times and has only been cautioned three times, something that augurs well

Against Liverpool, Kane will have to be at his absolute best in the absence of his partner-in-crime, Son. Lucas Moura is likely to partner him in attack and Kane will be hoping to link up well with the Brazilian.

It remains to be seen if Kane can emerge out of the game without a card against his name. If he can indeed do so, then Conte will be a happy man. With the World Cup break coming up, we need our key players available to ensure no slip ups take place.
