Real Madrid are showing an interest in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Man United.
Alejandro Garnacho’s rise to prominence at Manchester United can only be described as meteoric. The Argentine won an FA Youth Cup, earned an Argentina call-up and broke into the first-team setup at Old Trafford.
Just before the World Cup, he was playing sensational football every single time he had the ball at his feet. The footballing world started to take notice.
Inevitably, the transfer rumours are starting to swirl. It’s Relevo with the latest information, with help from The Express. Garnacho is now being linked with a prospective move to Real Madrid.
Apparently, the Spanish club are ‘considering’ making a move for the emerging United star.
It’s claimed that the player and the side both ‘like each other’, due to Garnacho’s personal attachment to the Spanish capital of Madrid. Obviously, the winger played for Atletico Madrid before making the move to Manchester a couple of years ago.
Los Blancos are now starting to take note of Garnacho’s performances. They’re now weighing up the possibility of moving for the attacker.
What makes this interesting is that Garnacho’s affection is reciprocated, with the player making regular visits to the Spanish capital to see his family.
This is all unfolding while United prepare to offer the Argentine a new bumper deal following his first-team breakthrough.
The good news for United is that Garnacho does have a contract until 2025. However, this transfer story felt inevitable. It’s an easy link to make. I genuinely believe this deal will happen eventually, as sad as that may be.
For now, though, the ball remains in United’s court. I reckon the club will get at least another two or three years out of Garnacho, before getting a decent fee to sell him over to Madrid.
