Our predicted MUFC XI for the game vs Sheriff is now in…

Manchester United’s game against Leeds United this weekend is postponed, meaning we will not see the Red Devils in Premier League action until next month.

It goes without saying, that’s highly disappointing. However, as they say, the show must go on. This Thursday, United head to Moldova to take on Sheriff Tiraspol.

Initially, the plan here would’ve probably been to rest key first-team players and give the rotation options and youth their chances. Though due to the aforementioned cancellation, we’re likely to see a stronger team named.

This could be a great opportunity to allow people to start to find form, albeit with the international break upcoming next.

Anyway, let’s get right into the all-important team news and see what sort of side we could see Ten Hag opt for…

Martin Dubravka looks a great bet to come into the line-up for his United debut, with the fans eager to get a chance to see the veteran in action.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka comes into the line-up for the first time in a while, giving Diogo Dalot a well-deserved rest after his great form. Tyrell Malacia will likely continue at left-back, with Luke Shaw still struggling with injury. Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez are the now-customary back two at the heart of defence.

I have to be honest, Casemiro has looked underwhelming in the early days, though starting him here could allow the Brazil international to find some consistency. He’ll sit deep alongside Scott McTominay, with Bruno Fernandes completing the midfield trio.

Cristiano Ronaldo leads the lie. He too needs to find his shooting boots again in order to propel himself back into some sort of form. To his right and left respective are Antony and Marcus Rashford.
