Our predicted MUFC XI for the away game vs Aston Villa is now in…

Although Manchester United won in midweek, the 1-0 victory over Real Sociedad sadly wasn’t enough to top the group. However, it was good for momentum.

Next up, another potentially tricky Premier League away game. Aston Villa have been improved since they sacked Slippy G, so we’re expecting a tough outing here.

Erik ten Hag does have a few key injury doubts for this one. With the availability of Antony, Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho up in the air.

Anyway, let’s get right into the line-up in full, while giving you the rundown on who we play and why we think that’s the case.

David de Gea is absolutely enjoying a resurgence recently, making some unreal saves over the past couple of matches. He’s also getting better with the ball at feet.

Diogo Dalot will play at right-back. He is another who is greatly impressing at this moment in time. Luke Shaw has bucked his ideas up after a sluggish start to the campaign. He will play here. In the absence of Raphael Varane, both Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof are forming quite the partnership.

Casemiro, United’s most recent player of the month, will sit at the base of midfield once again. He’ll have his Brazilian compatriot Fred in there next to him, with Christian Eriksen starting further up the field. Remember that Bruno Fernandes is suspended for this one.

Cristiano Ronaldo will lead the line, albeit the Portugal international is struggling for form. To his right and left respectively is Anthony Elanga and Marcus Rashford, due to the aforementioned injury issues to attackers.
