West Ham United have allegedly now fully agreed personal terms with Lucas Paqueta after positive overnight talks.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano who claims that talks with Lyon were proving difficult up until a positive late night call.

The Hammers have allegedly submitted a new £48 million (including add-ons) bid for Paqueta.
It remains to be seen whether Lyon accept that but L’Equipe claim that West Ham could go to £50 million for Paqueta and suggest that the Brazilian is one step away from moving to the London Stadium this summer.
It seems as though this one is gathering real momentum now…
Fabrizio Romano drops Lucas Paqueta to West Ham claim
The Lyon star would be a stunning signing for the Hammers and this is clearly one that David Moyes wants to get over the line as soon as possible.
The 24-year-old is the kind of player who could take West Ham to another level entirely. And it seems as though there is every chance that he will be plying his trade in East London this season and beyond.
Well, that’s what Fabrizio Romano thinks anyway…
The well respected Italian journalist tweeted this morning:
This could end up being a huge signing for West Ham, if we go on to get it done of course.
The 33-capped Brazil international is an attacking midfielder by trade but he can also operate on either wing if need be.
The silky left-footed ace has bagged 20 goals and 13 assists in 77 games for Lyon so far. Last season, he racked up 11 goals and seven assists in 44 appearances for the French side (Transfermarkt).
Paqueta possesses exceptional technique, impressive pace and has a real eye for goal and a killer pass.
He seems to have all of the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League and he has that nasty side on the football pitch that is so quintessentially South American as well.
We think that anything around £50 million for Lucas Paqueta wouldn’t be bad value at all for West Ham. Hopefully we can agree terms with Lyon today.
It seems as though personal terms have already been agreed, so that’s a very good thing. Lyon are notoriously difficult to deal with though.
So we’re not getting our hopes up until Paqueta is confirmed by the club!
