West Ham United and Arsenal are allegedly chasing the signing of Ousmane Diomande ahead of the January transfer window.
According to a report from Record, Ousmane Diomande is firmly on the West Ham radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

Hammers boss David Moyes is clearly prioritising strengthening his central defensive ranks at the London Stadium this winter.

One player who has been miles off the pace so far this season is Nayef Aguerd. He was signed for £30 million from Rennes in the summer of 2022 and now it seems like we might have overpaid for the Moroccan.
Moyes’s alleged January plan is certainly bad news for the 27-year-old centre-back…
£30m man finished at West Ham as Moyes eyes deal for ‘elite’ teenager Ousmane Diomande
If West Ham do sign the 19-year-old from Sporting, Aguerd will surely be the man who drops out of the team.
Kurt Zouma is the club captain and is far more consistent than the Moroccan, so there’s no way Moyes will be dropping him anytime soon.
Sure, Dimoande is not left-footed, but he is more than capable of playing in the left-sided centre-back position.

Football Talent Scout once described the 19-year-old defender as an ‘elite talent’.
The young Ivorian has absolutely everything needed to go on and become a truly top-class centre-back in the Premier League.
Ousmane Diomande is very strong in the air, quick along the ground and he reads the game incredibly well for someone so young. The teenager has real physicality as well and seems to be tailor made for the robust and intense nature of the English game.
He would be a truly exceptional signing for West Ham.
However, there will be one Hammer in particular who is slightly concerned about the links with the Sporting starlet. Aguerd is already under huge pressure to perform, and if Diomande arrives at the London Stadium, the 27-year-old’s West Ham career could well be over.
