David de Gea – Made a couple of semi-decent saves but wasn’t really tested too heavily. 5/10
Diogo Dalot – Had a steady evening. I’d still like to see better final balls into the box. 5/10
Raphael Varane – Pretty comfortable. Kept Kane quiet for the most part. 6/10
Harry Maguire – Scored a dreadful own goal, but had a good game putting that aside. 5/10
Alex Telles – Worked well down the left with Sancho. Played some teasing balls in. Defensively wayward on more than one occasion 5/10
Nemanja Matic – Grew into it after a pretty slow start. Obviously not the midfield force he once was. 4/10
Fred – Outstanding in midfield. Worked his socks off for the cause and was also good in possession. 7/10
Paul Pogba – Pretty poor. Just far too careless in every aspect of the game and kind of cruised through this one. 4/10
Marcus Rashford – Another worrying outing but at least the effort and enthusiasm seemed to be there. 4/10
Jadon Sancho – Superb and a constant threat. Quickly turning into one of our most important players. 7/10
Cristiano Ronaldo – Three outrageous goals during a Man of the Match performance. He was absolutely outstanding. 9/10
