Manchester United and West Ham United will return to domestic action in the Premier League this weekend.
United are enjoying a good run of form at the moment, most recently picking up a comfortable 3-0 win over Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League group stage.
West Ham are also playing well at the moment, returning to winning ways in the league with a 2-0 win over newly-promoted Bournemouth last weekend.
The Red Devils have won their last four Premier League games against the London club and will be looking to extend that streak this weekend.
When and where will the game take place?
United will return to Old Trafford for this one, marking their fifth home outing in their last six matches.
The match will be played on Sunday evening as the final game of the round.
Match Preview
Manchester United
United are enjoying their best run of form in 2022, going undefeated in their last seven games across all competitions.
After clinching a late 1-1 draw against Chelsea last weekend, Erik ten Hag’s men cruised to a 3-0 win over Sheriff in the Europa League on Thursday.
Diogo Dalot, Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo all got on the scoresheet for the Red Devils and will be pushing to start on Sunday.
United remain without the services of French duo Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial, although Harry Maguire and Donny van de Beek have both returned to full fitness.
West Ham United
The visitors endured a shaky start to their league campaign but have since bounced back and will be looking to cause an upset at Old Trafford this weekend.
They beat the Cherries 2-0 in their last league game, with Kurt Zouma and Said Benrahma getting on the scoresheet late in either half.
The Hammers defeated Danish side Silkeborg 1-0 in the Europa Conference League on Thursday and will head into the weekend clash with confidence.
Lucas Paqueta has missed the Hammers’ last three matches due to an injury but could be available on Sunday, but Maxwell Cornet and Craig Dawson both remain out.
Players to watch – Antony vs Cresswell
With both sides resting key players in their European outing in the midweek, Sunday’s game should feature the strongest possible XIs.
Antony scored in his first three Premier League games for United but has not found the back of the net in his last five matches.
He was withdrawn at half-time on Thursday on a controversial note and will now be looking to put all the noise to bed this weekend.
Aaron Cresswell has started all but one of the Hammers’ 12 league games this season and has been one of their most consistent performers.
The two players are integral to how their respective teams play and will be looking to put out a strong showing on Sunday.
