Manchester United to rival Tottenham Hotspur for Yassine Bounou

According to Fichajes, Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Yassine Bounou, a player that Tottenham Hotspur are also scouting as a replacement for Hugo Lloris.

The Sevilla goalkeeper has caught the attention of many top clubs after impressing during his stint in Spain. Erik ten Hag, the newly appointed Tottenham manager, is said to be keen on bringing in a goalkeeper come June, as Jack Butland’s loan spell at the club will end this season.

While Tottenham do have Hugo Lloris, who has been a loyal servant for the club for many years, the Frenchman is approaching the latter stages of his career. Therefore, a future first-choice goalkeeper is a must for the North London club.

Lloris has been a pale shadow of his former self this season. He seems to almost always have a mistake in him. Consistency is something that has haunted him for much of his career and things have gone from bad to worse now.

The reports suggest that Bono is a top target for Tottenham and could be the perfect fit for the club. He is an experienced goalkeeper who has represented his country in the World Cup and has played at the highest level in European club competitions.

However, reports also suggest that Manchester United are keen on signing Bono and are willing to ‘go with everything’ to secure his signature. This news has left many Tottenham fans feeling uneasy, as they fear that they may miss out on yet another transfer target.

If Tottenham is serious about signing Bono, they will need to move quickly and secure a deal before Manchester United enters the race. However, this is easier said than done, as Sevilla is unlikely to let go of their star goalkeeper for anything less than his release clause, which is reportedly close to €50 million.

It remains to be seen what Tottenham’s strategy will be in the transfer market, but they cannot afford to miss out on another top transfer target. The fans are desperate for a successful team, and the addition of a quality goalkeeper like Bono could be the missing piece in the puzzle.
