David de Gea – Had a relatively quiet afternoon. Made a couple of decent saves but nothing too spectacular was required. 6/10

Diogo Dalot – Played well defensively. Hit the bar with a long range effort. 6/10

Luke Shaw – Outstanding defensively. Felt like the only player back there who had composure on the ball. Picked up an assist with a lovely ball. 8/10

Harry Maguire – Poor. His passing was sloppy. Did win his aerial battles which you’d expect. 4/10

Tyrell Malacia – Decent enough. Solid in the tackle. Defended well. Lacked that cutting edge with the ball at feet. 5/10

Fred – Careless at times, though improved as the game wore on. Made some important tackles. 6/10

Marcel Sabitzer – Kept it simple for the most part, though that was important. He ensured United didn’t lose the ball carelessly. 6/10

Bruno Fernandes – Worked tirelessly and always tried to make things happen. 5/10

Jadon Sancho – Looked like United’s biggest goal threat in the first 45. 6/10

Marcus Rashford – Scored yet another header to send United on their way. Had a relatively quiet overall game but came up with the goods. 7/10

Wout Weghorst – Struggled to get into it at times, though his pass into Garnacho for the second was superb. 6/10

Subs:

Alejandro Garnacho Outstanding when he came on. Hurt the Leeds defence and scored a blinder.

Lisandro Martinez – Added some composure to a side that needed it.

Anthony Elanga – Not enough time to mark.
