Man United apparently could make a huge £105m bid to sign Victor Osimhen this summer…

There can be no denying the fact that Manchester United still need to replace Cristiano Ronaldo in the long term. The Portugal international left in December, with Wout Weghorst brought in as a short-term replacement.

This summer, huge money will have to be spent on that elite level striker to fill the void left by Ronnie. Several names have been linked, including Harry Kane.

Another face who is becoming increasingly familiar to United fans is Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian, who currently plies his trade for Napoli, is going to be hot property whenever he leaves the Serie A club.

United could certainly be in that queue if the latest talk from Soccer News is to be believed. They say that United could make a huge £105m bid to sign the 24-year-old attacker, though this would be a summer move rather than a winter one.

You’d imagine that United would have to have new owners in place before they go splashing that sort of cash on one player. A great player, no doubt, though the Glazer family aren’t going to spend that sort of cash right now.

Osimhen strikes me as someone who is the perfect fit for this United system. Quick, a hard worker, a great finisher, though as the price tag suggests, this will take a huge amount of money.

Napoli has always been tough negotiators. We should expect no different here. Osimhen would cost an arm and a leg, thug he’s someone who could lead this line for the next ten years. What’s not to like about that?

I’d love to see this deal done.
