Reports suggest that Arsenal’s Thomas Partey is being viewed as a potential replacement, with both clubs, and the player himself, possibly open to negotiations in the upcoming January transfer window.

Juventus find themselves rethinking their midfield strategy with the acquisition of Paul Pogba from Manchester United in June 2022 not going as planned. Pogba’s arrival was met with much anticipation but has since led to disappointment for the Turin-based club.
In his first season with Juventus, Pogba was limited to just 161 minutes across all competitions due to a knee injury.
His struggles continued into this season, where he saw only 52 minutes on the pitch before being sidelined by a doping infringement.
According to Italian sources, including a report from Calciomercato, Juventus are now considering Arsenal’s Thomas Partey as a possible replacement for Pogba.
Partey, the 30-year-old midfielder, had appeared in all three of Arsenal’s Premier League matches this season before an injury set him back.
Calciomercato also speculate that Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, may be open to exploring alternative midfield options in the future.

There is further speculation surrounding Partey’s future at Arsenal.
Rumours close to the Ghanaian player indicate he is “seriously considering” a January move away from the North London club and is willing to “accept offers” from other teams.
However, any potential transfer would hinge on Arsenal’s stance on the matter.
If talk over the summer is to be believed, they will be happy to move Partey on should they receive the right offer.
