Michail Antonio has summed up perfectly exactly what being a West Ham United fan is all about.
West Ham striker Michail Antonio has just started to rediscover his very best form, just like many of his teammates, and his latest comments have completely shut up Jim White, after his ridiculous claims about our fans.

The 33-year-old has actually been heavily linked with a move to Everton in the summer. However, he has proved recently that he still has so much more to give with the Hammers.

David Moyes is a massive fan of Antonio. The way that he runs the channels and never gives opposing defenders a minute’s peace is exactly what the Scot wants from his front-man.
Micky is a very popular player at the London Stadium. The West Ham fans absolutely love him and it seems as though the feeling is mutual…
The 33-year-old Hammer spoke to WHUFC.com about how important the fans have been to him and his his teammates throughout his time at the club.
Antonio said:
“One thing I’ve known since I’ve been here is that once we’ve got the crowd going it’s electric and they will sing from the beginning until the end. We don’t need to be winning, just as long as we show the fight and the grit and play well, they’re always backing us.”

There you have it. After all that rubbish that we’ve hard over the past few years that the London Stadium faithful are a hindrance to the team, it’s really nice to see Antonio set the record straight.
It has been suggested that the Hammers faithful are too demanding of our players and want success that we are not entitled to. Really?
Let’s not forget, we haven’t won a trophy since 1980 and still sell out our home games and away allocations week in, week out. The West Ham fans are as loyal as they come, and are arguably the best in England.
Michail Antonio’s comments today proved that in my eyes. We don’t expect our team to win every game but we do demand 100% effort from the players as a bare minimum. You can’t get much fairer than that can you.
