Claret and Hugh have suggested that Nayef Aguerd could be fit and available for selection for the West Ham vs Manchester City clash in two week’s time.
The 26-year-old Moroccan joined the Hammers from Rennes in a deal worth around £30 million according to Fabrizio Romano.

Unfortunately for West Ham though, Aguerd limped off against Rangers at Ibrox on Tuesday night with a nasty looking ankle injury.
The Morocco international looked really good in pre-season before his injury.
However, news broke yesterday from beIN Sports that the 26-year-old could be out for up to three months.
That was obviously met with huge frustration from the Hammers fans and David Moyes.
It seems as though there could be a glimmer of hope for West Ham though…
West Ham handed huge Nayef Aguerd boost
Claret and Hugh reckon that the 26-year-old centre-back could be fit for the Hammers’ Premier League opener against Manchester City on August 7th.
That really is a truly huge boost for West Ham.
Man City will represent one of our hardest challenges all season, as per usual. So having Aguerd available for selection will be great news for Moyes.
The Moroccan is incredibly quick and that will be vital when coming up against Manchester City’s explosive front-line.
When the former Rennes man went off injured against Rangers, the Hammers fans feared the worst.
It was so typically West Ham. Sign a top-class player who has rarely suffered with injuries for £30 million and surprise, surprise, during his second appearance for the club he breaks down.
It appears as though it may have looked worse than it actually was though.
And the West Ham insider’s update on Nayef Aguerd is hugely positive news for everyone at the London Stadium.
