FCSB manager Nicolae Dică could be sacked if his side lose to West Ham United at the London Stadium tomorrow night.
The Hammers play host to the Romanian side in the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage opener tomorrow.
Formerly known as Steaua Bucharest, FCSB have rich pedigree in Europe. The won the European Cup in 1986.
They’re also the most famous club in Romania, with 26 league titles to their name.
FCSB are just not the same team anymore though. They are currently sitting fourth from bottom in the table, having taken just seven points from their opening seven league games.
West Ham are strong favourites to win the game tomorrow night. And if that happens, it could be curtains for the FCSB boss…
FCSB manager faces sack if his team loses to West Ham
According to a report from Pro Sport, Nicolae Dică could be relieved of his duties, if the Hammers beat the Romanian outfit at the London Stadium tomorrow night.
That’s some serious pressure on the FCSB manager, if the report is true of course.
West Ham should win this one comfortably.
So we fear for Dică’s future. Although we have no affiliation to the Romanian side, it’s never nice to see anyone lose their job.
This is a cut-throat business though.
David Moyes is in need of a win just as much as the Romanian manager is.
And if West Ham beat FCSB at the London Stadium tomorrow night, it could well be the end of the road for Nicolae Dică in charge of the Romanian giants.
