It took a team effort for Tottenham Hotspur to claw back and beat Bournemouth on the road on Saturday, including some fantastic finishes from some unexpected faces.

One of the best parts of the Tottenham come back win on Saturday on the south coast was that the goals came from unexpected places in distinctive ways.

Anytime Tottenham scores three goals, you expect that Harry Kane or Heung-min Son would have nabbed one or more. On Saturday against Bournemouth, it was not the usual suspects but rather some fantastic finishes from some unlikely sources.

Ryan Sessegnon continues his growth at wing-back for Tottenham

The Tottenham wing-backs take a lot of strife from the fanbase; however, if we stop nit-picking for a little while, one can realize that there is growth occurring in Spur’s younger players. Ryan Sessegnon is just 22 and is learning from veteran Ivan Perisic.

Sessegnon is getting better at getting off crosses in tight spaces, and today, he timed his diagonal run to perfection to get behind the defense and avoid being offside.

In the past, there have been times when Sessegnon’s touch has let him down in situations like that. Against Bournemouth, all you saw was a confident player put the ball exactly where he wanted it so he could slot home the first goal for Spurs. Sometimes the most straightforward finishes can be the most difficult, but Sessegnon took his opportunity, scoring his second goal of the season at just the right time.
