Club Brugge fans have unfurled a banner pleading with Hans Vanaken to stay at the club amidst strong links with a move to West Ham.
It seems as though the Hammers are closing in on the signing of the 29-year-old attacking midfielder.
HBVL recently claimed that West Ham boss David Moyes is desperate to bring Vanaken to the London Stadium.
It seems as though the Club Brugge fans are not keen on the prospect of their star man leaving, however…
Club Brugge fans urge Hans Vanaken not to join West Ham
The 29-year-old attacking midfielder is hugely popular at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
It’s little wonder as to why – he’s bagged 102 goals and 73 assists in 344 games for Club Brugge (Transfermarkt) – a tremendously impressive tally.
His days at the club could well be numbered though.
David Moyes desperately needs an attacking midfielder and the player himself is clearly keen to move to the Premier League.
The Club Brugge fans made one last desperate attempt to get him to change his mind though…
“Stay Hans, don’t go.”

If he signs for the Hammers though, we will give him our full backing, of course.
