Bayern Munich planning to bid £94.6 million for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane
The Bundesliga giants are interested in acquiring the services of the England international in the ongoing transfer window. However, the German outfit have seen three proposals rejected by the North London side, the latest being a £86 million offer.
However, it seems the Bavarians are determined to get a hold of the 30-year-old this summer. The Allianz Arena side have sprung into action after Kane revealed a deadline regarding his transfer.
As things stand, the English skipper has decided to stay at Tottenham if Bayern are unable to come to an agreement with them on his transfer before the first game of the season. The North London side will take on Brentford on 13 August.
However, it is unlikely that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will put his stamp on the Bundesliga giants’ potential bid. The Lilywhites are looking to get a nine-figure sum to part ways with their talisman.
At the moment, Thomas Tuchel only has Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thomas Muller who are capable of playing up top. They have recently sold Sadio Mane to Al-Nassr and are yet to replace Robert Lewandowski.
Kane has been one of the most prolific strikers in football over the last few years. Therefore, it is understandable that the Allianz Arena side have him on their radar.
However, it is not surprising to see Tottenham hold on to the English national despite his current contract situation. The forward’s existing deal with the North London side is set to expire next summer (transfermarkt).

But Kane arguably makes us a better team. Thus, it would be wise to take the risk and keep our record goalscorer for another year rather than sell him to Bayern.
