Double bubble for West Ham as Aguerd signing could see Tottenham miss out on key target Kim Min-Jae

West Ham United may well cause a very big problem for Tottenham Hotspur in the transfer window this summer.

It all stems from the Hammers’ signing of Nayef Aguerd and Tottenham potentially missing out on one of their key summer transfer targets as a result.

According to a report from RMC Sport, Rennes are closing in on the signing of Fenerbahce star Kim Min-Jae – a key transfer target for Tottenham manager Antonio Conte.

So it could end up being double bubble for West Ham! Not only have we made a brilliant £30 million signing in the form of Nayef Aguerd but we’ve also played a part in Spurs losing out on a player who would have been a very good addition to their squad.

Hammers boss David Moyes still has to make another four or five top quality signings in the transfer window but as things stand, we’re on the verge of a very good summer indeed…

Double bubble for West Ham as Tottenham transfer window takes a hit

RMC Sport reckon that Rennes are closing in on a deal to sign Fenerbahce star Kim Min-Jae.

The 42-capped South Korea international is seen as the ideal replacement for West Ham star Nayef Aguerd.

Just last month it was reported by The Express that Tottenham boss Antonio Conte was very keen to get a deal for the 25-year-old Fenerbahce defender wrapped up as soon as possible.

Missing out on the South Korean will obviously be a big blow for Spurs.

Meanwhile, West Ham are laughing.

Tottenham have undoubtedly made some very strong moves in the transfer market this summer. And they will certainly be a huge threat under the guidance of serial winner Antonio Conte next season.

And with that in mind, any little win that the Hammers can get will be very significant for us heading into the 2022/23 campaign.

If West Ham have adversely affected the Tottenham transfer window, then that can only be a good thing for us.
