Our confirmed MUFC XI for the Premier League away game vs Wolves is now in…
Manchester United Football Club are looking to end their 2022 with a victory that could lift the Reds into the Premier League’s top four.
Games against Wolverhampton Wanderers have been typically tough in the past. Today’s match will be no different despite the Midlands outfit struggling themselves for large stretches this season.
When you head to Molineux, you know you’re always in for a game. Wolves work hard as a unit, defend well and are super organised. It’s up to Erik ten Hag’s men to break down that stern defence – though apparently, they’ll have to do it without Marcus Rashford, at least from the start anyway…
So let’s get right into the all-important team news.
Check out our confirmed MUFC XI for the game vs Wolves in full here:
David de Gea starts in between the sticks, which is an easy position to predict at this moment in time.
Raphael Varane starts as the only recognised central defender, presumably alongside Luke Shaw. The pair played well together last time out against Nottingham Forest. Spare a thought for both Lindelof and Maguire, who sit on the bench in favour of a left-back…
Casemiro has been the glue that has brought this team together. He plays as per usual, alongside Christian Eriksen. Bruno Fernandes starts just slightly further up the field.
Anthony Martial has looked sharp all season long when fit. I’m expecting a big display from him again here. To his right and left respectively is Antony and Alejandro Garnacho. I am surprised Rashy only makes the bench…
