Our confirmed MUFC XI for the Premier League away game vs Spurs is now in…

Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur this evening, in a game during which the Red Devils can cement themselves as a Champions League side next year. Win and all-but end Spurs’ hopes at finishing inside the top four. Lose and suddenly the race is on again. I’d take a draw if you offered it to me right now…

Erik ten Hag has been sweating on the fitness of Bruno Fernandes ahead of this one. We witnessed it against Sevilla. This isn’t the same team without him.

We’re going to face a Spurs with a point to prove fresh off of sacking their manager. They’ll want to play for interim boss Ryan Mason, so expect a bounce back from Harry Kane and company during this tight encounter.

I always back our lads to do well. This evening is no different. If we play to our capabilities I genuinely do believe we’ll be the ones celebrating at full-time. So let’s give you the rundown in regard to the starting line-up.

Check out our confirmed MUFC XI vs Spurs in full here:

David de Gea starts in between the sticks, which is the easiest position to predict for United at the moment.

The back four is still rocked by injury, so it does look a little unorthodox right now. Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts at right-back, with Diogo Dalot playing off the left-hand side at present. Luke Shaw plays centrally, as does Victor Lindelof. The pair looked good at the weekend.

Casemiro sits in front of the back four, protecting them and mopping up the loose balls. We’re going to need a monster display from him here. Christian Eriksen has looked pretty sharp since returning to the team. Bruno Fernandes has been passed fit to start! He wears the armband.

Marcus Rashford leads the line, with his pace set to be super threatening. To his right and left respectively is Antony and Jadon Sancho. This trio has bags of quality, speed and trickery.

Come on lads!!!
