Manchester United play their last game for a month today, as they head to Fulham to take on an in-form side managed by Marco Silva.
Erik ten Hag will have to set his side up to play on the front foot here, with the home side likely looking to sit back and play on the break.
The Red Devils seemingly have some players who have already checked out for the World Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo and Antony seemingly fall into that bracket. If their head isn’t in it, it absolutely makes sense to keep them away from the line-up.
Anyway, the team news is now in, with the gaffer springing at least one or two surprises, so let’s get right into it.

David de Gea starts in between the sticks, with the Spaniard looking to keep up his good form.
There’s no Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the squad, meaning we’re going to see Tyrell Malacia start in the right-back slot as Diogo Dalot is suspended. Over on the left, Luke Shaw plays. Ten Hag has opted for Victor Lindelof over Harry Maguire, with Lisandro Martinez making up the back four.
Casemiro plays at the base midfield. Christian Eriksen starts, presumably in that deeper position alongside the aforementioned Brazilian. Bruno Fernandes starts and captains the side. He’ll play from that #10 slot.
Anthony Martial is handed another start here, with the Frenchman looking to prove his worth ahead of the World Cup. Marcus Rashford is included in the XI from his preferred left-wing role, with Anthony Elanga starting over on the right.
