Chris Sutton shared what he noticed West Ham fans to David Moyes after Wolves defeat

Chris Sutton has shared what he noticed the West Ham United fans to David Moyes after the Wolves defeat yesterday.

The Hammers were in real trouble before yesterday’s game, but our situation seems to be even worse this morning.

David Moyes’s men are now sitting inside the bottom three, and with games to come against Newcastle, Chelsea and Tottenham after the Everton clash next weekend, things are looking bleak in East London.

The thing is, most of the problems are Moyes’s own making. He continues to start players that should be nowhere near the team – Tomas Soucek, Aaron Cresswell, Lukasz Fabianski, Michail Antonio and Vladimir Coufal to name a few.

And then many of the players who should be starting and are in the team are played out of position!

Something has to change and fast. I have been suggesting that Moyes needs to be sacked for quite some time now. And then yesterday seemed to be the straw that broke the camel’s back for even Moyes’s most ardent supporters…

West Ham fans fuming with David Moyes

Chris Sutton was a pundit on BT Sport’s Score show yesterday.

And he shared with viewers what he noticed about the West Ham fans’ reaction to David Moyes applauding them at the end of the game (Saturday January 15th, 5:09pm):

Just watching David Moyes at the end of the game go over and applaud the West Ham fans. They certainly weren’t applauding him back. Lot of anger from the West Ham fans.

The Hammers fans are right to be angry.

We have been served up absolute rubbish this season. The football is slow and predictable and the team lacks any kind of power, pace or dynamism.

The squad that Moyes has built is a poor one that just isn’t suitable to the modern day game or the Premier League. We are crying out for two young, powerful and energetic full-backs, yet we are forced to watch Vladimir Coufal and Aaron Cresswell week in, week out.

Most West Ham fans are done with David Moyes now. He gave us some great times but has refused to evolve and give himself the best opportunity to take us on to the next level.

It really is time to go now David. And if we’re all being honest, it has been for some time.
