According to a report earlier this week, West Ham are confident of getting Bowen signed up to a bumper new contract extension which could more than double his current salary.

That comes amid interest from the likes of Liverpool.

Especially as Bowen has been a regular starter in consecutive European campaigns during that time too.

For context, West Ham have played 130 Premier League games since Bowen signed for the club. To miss just two of those matches is unbelievable.

An ankle injury sustained at Liverpool in the 2021-22 campaign resulted in the only two Prem matches Bowen has missed in his near four years at West Ham.

Players who make themselves available for every single game, play through minor injuries and pain for the team and give their all every time they pull on that West Ham shirt are worth their weight in gold.

The stat is made even more incredible given the physical demands of the modern game, especially for an attacking player like Bowen who relies on his explosive pace.

It’s easy to see why West Ham have been so keen to get Bowen tied down to that new deal.
