Seven years ago, Arsenal were ‘set to open striker talks’ with Paulo Dybala with the club eventually making an offer.
Dybala, however, now 28, signed for Juventus from Palermo for £36.9m, a value he still holds.
The forward is out of contract this summer and set to depart Turin on a free which has the gossip mongers coming up with all sorts of ideas, like Arsenal and Newcastle both making enquiries about signing him.
Dybala, the reports claim, needs to be ‘convinced’ and neither club seems to really interest the player.
Inter Milan are also said to be interested and that seems the most likely of destinations at this point with Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun said to have already held talks with Giuseppe Marotta.
PSG and Atletico Madrid are also said to hold an interest in the player.
Dybala has scored 13 and assisted six in 31 games this season (a goal or assist every 110 minutes).
