Ryan Taylor reports for the Express that Arsenal are following Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Martin Baturina, who impressed scouts at the recent u21 European Championships with Croatia.
Baturina only recently signed a new contract with Dinamo, lasting until 2028, but Arsenal scouts watched him on a number of occasions last season and he’s held in high regard by the Gunners.
The 20-year-old is valued at between £10m and £15m, but Dinamo could listen to offers slightly below those figures.
Taylor adds that a transfer doesn’t appear to be imminent, with checks on the player instead set to continue into next season.

Arsenal are obviously operating with limited funds at the moment, after spending big this summer already.
Baturina doesn’t currently look to be a priority for whatever money the Gunners have left to invest. Instead, this is one to keep an eye on for the long term.
The midfielder has already made 68 first-team appearances for Dinamo, as well as making nine appearances for the Croatia u21s.
Last season was particularly impressive, as he scored six goals and assisted 13 in 48 games (35 starts).

But with a long-term deal at his current club, there’s no real rush for Baturina to move on.
He’ll be involved in Champions League qualifiers with Dinamo later this month, after playing in the competition last season, so he’s getting plenty of exposure to top-level football already.
