Arsenal keen on 21yo Danish winger with 7 goals

Gustav Isaksen currently plies his trade in Denmark for FC Midtjylland.

With seven goals and an assist this season in 23 games, Isaksen has caught the attention of a number of bigger clubs including Newcastle United, AC Milan and, apparently, Arsenal.

We know Arsenal are in the market for an attacking player in the January window and Mikel Arteta has got money to spend. We also know Arsenal are looking for young players, exactly like Isaksen.

Although valued at around £4m, FC Midtjylland are said to want an offer in the region of £17m to let him go.

His first professional deal, signed in May 2019, ties him to the club until 2024. Isaksen signed for FC Midtjylland from Roslev IK at u-12 level.
