Brazilian outlet Lance report that Arsenal are one of the clubs to watch in the race for Gabriel Moscardo, as people linked to the Gunners recently got in touch with Corinthians representatives to get information on the player.
Manchester City were another club to seek details on Moscardo, and Corinthians have been quick to extend his deal to June 2026 in response to the growing interest in him.
Still just 17 years old, Moscardo has already made eight appearances for Corinthians’ first team this season, playing a defensive midfield role.

That run of games comes in spite of the player recently having to undergo surgery.
Moscardo missed three weeks of matches with appendicitis, but he came straight back into the team once he was fit again.
Most recently, the teenager played 79 minutes for Corinthians against Estudiantes in the Copa Sudamericana quarter-final on Wednesday as they won 1-0 to take a lead into the second leg.

Moscardo’s age presents a complication for Arsenal and Manchester City right now, as post-Brexit regulations mean that Premier League clubs are unable to sign players under the age of 18.
But Moscardo turns 18 in September, so he’ll be eligible for a transfer by the time the January window comes around.
The obvious concern is that another European club without the same restrictions will swoop before the summer window closes next week.
For what it’s worth, there’s no word of any club in active negotiations over a transfer just yet.
