The north London derby always provides entertainment, and Sunday evening was no exception.
Whilst Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal dazzled throughout 90 minutes of threatening attacks and solid defending, there was also entertainment away from the actual football.
Let’s start with Gabriel Martinelli, who decided to throw an Arsenal scarf over the spider-cam at the stadium, landing it on one of the wires after a couple of tries.

Martinelli also managed to annoy compatriot Richarlison, who bitterly refused to shake the Arsenal winger’s hand – before contritely apologising after the game.

Up in the stands, one Arsenal fan managed to get into the Spurs end, and he showed off his Gunners shirt to the delight of the away support.

Finally, there was a funny moment after the game when Mikel Arteta chased down Granit Xhaka to stop him from getting in any trouble.
The Arsenal boss was laughing with Aaron Ramsdale before he spotted the Swiss international making for the Spurs players, and he quickly raced into action to pull the former Gunners captain away from danger. The pictures tell their own story:

In the end, there was a lot to enjoy from Arsenal’s derby-day victory away to Spurs, keeping the good vibes going ahead of another key clash at home to Manchester United this weekend.
